Birthshop 1: Your Sacred Vision

This five day program provides a foundation to support your role in Sacred Birthing.  It is designed to reinstate the passion you felt when you first choose to move into the field of birth. Many of us have lost that through seeing so much difficulty and harm in birth.  Half of this workshop is honoring the subtle Sacred Tools of inner hearing and inner feeling.  The other half is learning the Sacred Technologies that help us shed accumulated belief systems that interrupt birth.

Introduced at this workshop is the purpose of doing your inner work so that the babies you touch are touched with ‘clear hands’ and without our own fear.  Few of us have cleared our own birth trauma, and rarely, the trauma from other births we have attended as well.  Heal Your Own Birth is offered as part of this Birthshop, see below.

Your Sacred Vision stands alone as a workshop for doulas, nurses, educators and midwives to acquire the tools that best support our work with parents and babies. Although it is very appropriate for parents, it is addressed to birth professionals.

Upon completion, a certificate from the Sacred Birthing Foundation enables you to share what you have learned with parents preparing for birth.  In order to receive full Certification as a Sacred Birthing Mentor, there are two more stages to be completed that build upon this foundation.

Between workshops, please be keeping a journal of how you are combining your work in birth with Sacred Birthing principles, and of any questions that this brings up. Also, choose a mentor from those who have gone before you, and keep in touch between now and when you are called to your next Birthshop.
